Maria Alexandra Sheppard

Maria Alexandra Sheppard is originally from Panama City, Panama. She entered the ecosystem as an emerging leader in the Futuro MMXIX cohort at Georgetown University through the Startup Las Americas track, and has since risen to changemaker. She served as Chair of the Board of Advisors from 2019 to 2020 and was named a Mary E. Galvin Science and Engineering Scholar at the University of Notre Dame, where she studied Neuroscience and Behavior. Maria Alexandra is currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Chicago. Her project explores neurolinguistics as a vehicle for developing initiatives that foster cohesion, unity, and advancement across the Americas.
